The soundtrack to my new years eve started with a great group from the 80'? 90's, 2000? called ESG. Its great dance music with an electro funk feel and it was the perfect music to get me into celebration mode. So good i woke up with a bruised ankle the following morning. I am now on the prowl for A South Bronx Story.
Eugene & The 1914 is a local band that a couple of friends are in. I just listened to them live for the first time last weekend and was fully enthralled in their performance. Visit their myspace page and check out some songs, and if you're in the Long Beach area they often play free shows.
